A sports documentary series not about the athletes who shine under the bright lights, but a celebration of those that turn the lights on.

Pilot Episode 1:

Two of the NCAA’s basketball powerhouses clash at the world’s loudest indoor arena, Allen Fieldhouse. Fresh off a National Championship, Hall of Fame Coach Bill Self looks to keep his Jayhawks alive in the race for yet another conference championship.

As is customary, Coach leans on his right-hand woman, Joanie Stephens, and her superstition-driven gameday ritual.

Engineering major Camden Knight takes us through the idiosyncrasies of a multi-day camp out to secure premier tickets in the vaunted student section.

Maintenance manager Glenn Hansen puts us to work with his grueling 30-hour gameday shift.

Feeling parched, Zack experiences the ins-and-outs of the Lawrence social scene with local legend and The Wheel tavern keeper, Robert “Knobbie” Farha.

And finally, Brady Morningstar - former KU standout now on the coaching staff - runs today’s Jayhawks through a pre-game shootaround.
